Family fun on exciting adventure trails, fun playgrounds, the amusement park Familienland Pillersee as well as various nature trails or the Flying Fox XXL provide plenty of play and above all variety for young and old. Mountain adventure worlds such as Timoks Alm with the Coaster or the Triassic Park on the Waidringer Steinplatte are among the most popular attractions for children. Furthermore, the Tatzi Club is also an exciting destination.
Swimming fun
Bathing in the midst of idyllic mountain scenery. You can experience this pleasure at the picturesquely situated Lauchsee in Fieberbrunn!
The Lauchsee warms up quickly due to the slightly brownish moor water, you can enjoy the first bath already in May.
For rheumatism, tension and intervertebral disc disease, perhaps a jump into the Lauchsee will help.
Hiking
Hiking fun with a fantastic panoramic view is promised by our seven cable car mountain stations as ideal starting points for the more than 550 km of marked and well-signposted hiking trails, alpine plant & medicinal herb trails for pleasure hikes or for those seeking relaxation, up to mountain tours for the daring. In the numerous alpine huts along the hiking trails, hikers can feast on hearty snacks.
Mountain biking
In addition to spectacular mountain bike routes such as the legendary Big-5 Bike Challenge, there is also an extensive network of paths and trails such as countless freeride routes and single trails in Saalbach Hinterglemm and the world championship and World Cup-tested Bikepark Leogang, as well as enjoyable round tours in Fieberbrunn.
Climbing
Conquer the mountain world of Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen, St. Jakob in Haus, St. Ulrich am Pillersee and Waidring on the numerous different climbing routes and climbing tours. In the PillerseeTal await climbing fans, climbing walls, breathtaking climbing rocks and numerous via ferratas in all degrees of difficulty, from beginner to professional!
The practice via ferrata in Adolari is the best way to get a taste of climbing. The via ferratas "Henne" and "Maueracker" in Fieberbrunn as well as the via ferrata "s'Schuastagangl" in Waidring already offer somewhat more difficult routes and if that is still not enough, you can try the via ferrata "Nackter Hund" in the Loferer Steinberge - a high alpine via ferrata including a challenging mountain tour.
One of the top highlights of the region is the largest accessible summit cross in the world, the Jakobskreuz at the summit of the Buchensteinwand!
Skiing & Snowboarding
Winter in Fieberbrunn - skiing and cross-country skiing - the family ski and freeride area in Tyrol. For families with children who want to enjoy their ski vacation far away from the hustle and bustle of large crowded ski resorts, Fieberbrunn is a real treasure.
However, the village of Fieberbrunn with the ski area of the same name is also THE insider tip for pleasure skiers and freeriders. Of course, powder snow lovers and snowboarders also get their money's worth in Fieberbrunn.
The Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn is not only Austria's most casual, but also one of the most diverse ski areas in Tyrol with a total of 270 kilometers of slopes and 70 cable cars and lifts and is the hot spot of the Austrian Alps.
Tobogganing
The fun on two runners is already a huge thrill during the day - an evening tobogganing trip in Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen, St. Jakob in Haus, St. Ulrich am Pillersee and Waidring has its own special charm.
The toboggan runs in the PillerseeTal are all illuminated and can therefore also be used in the evening. However, before returning to the warm rooms on the mountain, it's time to "climb the mountain" - the sporty ones on foot, the lazier ones prefer cab transport, which is possible at some of the toboggan runs.
Snowshoe hikes
Countless paths lead to the most beautiful corners of the PillerseeTal, through woods and fields past farms, hamlets and streams. At the end of many paths, the warm parlor of a cozy inn or snack station awaits you.
Enjoy romantic hours in Fieberbrunn, Hochfilzen, St. Jakob in Haus, St. Ulrich am Pillersee and Waidring, while thick snowflakes enchant the landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps.
Cross-country skiing
The cross-country ski trails in Fieberbrunn are freshly groomed daily and are suitable for classic cross-country skiing as well as for skaters and offers its cross-country skiing guests three cross-country ski trails in different degrees of difficulty:
The "Dandler trail" offers an easy practice trail for beginners and novices at the beginning, before it transitions into somewhat more challenging terrain that takes you all the way to Hochfilzen and on to Leogang.
The small but nice "Reither Loipe" is a connecting trail and leads from the valley station of the Fieberbrunn cable cars directly to the Dandler trail (including a short descent on foot) .
The "Weißach-Loipe" in the Rosenegg district is considered the most scenic cross-country ski trail. High above Fieberbrunn, this approximately 10 km long trail offers experienced cross-country skiers a fantastic view. In addition, a section is also illuminated in the evening!
TIP: Use the free ski bus to also explore the cross-country skiing network of Hochfilzen, St. Jakob in Haus, St. Ulrich am Pillersee and Waidring with your cross-country skiing ticket.
Ski tours
Discover ski touring for yourself. The ascent over the slopes is both an ideal training opportunity and a chance to relax. With your own muscle power you go up through untouched nature to the summit. The wonderful silence and beautiful views are as much a part of the fascination of the sport as the crowning descent on untracked slopes.

Winter panorama
With winter hiking or snowshoeing on approx. 100 km of prepared winter hiking trails, even the non-skier or occasional hiker can have a good time.
In Fieberbrunn the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn offers two snowparks for all freestylers! The small but nice Easypark at the middle station Streuböden and a Freeride Park for all advanced freestylers. The two snow parks and fun parks offer fun for all skill levels.
